The body is 32 ft. long, and the length over all,42 ft. It is mounted on St. Louis No. 47 short-whee] basetruck, and has the patented steel-channel bottom, in which thestrength is placed in the side sills, so that plenty of room is leftfor the swiveling of the trucks between the wheels, and thecar body can be placed low. All cars have arc headlights. Just before the Exposition, the company rebuilt its car house at DeHodiamont, which had been destroyed by fire. The newcar house, a front view of which is shown, is practically fire-proof. It has eleven entrance tracks and a capacity of 100 mm ONE OF THE ST.
