The wife of Col. Garrard must have diedbetween 1755 and 1760, after which he married ElizabethMoss. The children of his second marriage were William,Henry, Robert and Eleanor. A long and exhaustive search has failed to find any-thing relating to the three younger children. It is notknown who Eleanor married, but h^r daughter married Foster, and her daughter married Avres. Those families lived in Kentuckv, and some ot theirdescendants now live in Missouri, but they can give no infor-mation beyond fact that Mrs. Foster was the daughterof Governor Garrards sister Eleanor. A copy of the will of Col. William Gakrard hasbeen obtained from Stafford Court House. It is dated Sep-. %M *?/...... .^M^C--;--^^^-^
