The Navy Women’s Softball Team lines up Aug. 13 before the final Armed Forces Women’s Softball Championship tournament game to compete against Air Force at the South Softball Complex. The Navy ended the game with 20 runs and Air Force finished at 17. The final inning became a close one after Air Force batted in six runs in an attempt to make up the nine-run difference going in at the top of the inning. This is the first gold medal the Navy Women’s Softball Team has taken home.
