The Burton store on the corner of Commercial Road and Meadow Street, seen from the south before construction of the Cascades Shopping Centre. Meadow Street was redeveloped as part of the Cascades Shopping Centre, probably in the late 1980s. The Burton store at 159-161 Commercial Road remained, although many of the windows on the Meadow Street facade were blocked up.
