Dominic Freda, an assistant recruiter instructor, with Recruiting Station Cleveland is awarded a purple heart during a ceremony at Veteran’s Memorial Plaza in Livonia, MI., July 14, 2021. Freda was serving as weapons platoon sergeant, Company I, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines, and received wounds in action during Operation Enduring Freedom, May 15, 2010.
