On August 28, 1890, he was married to Miss Sarah Jane Regu-lus, a daughter of Calvin and Maria Regulus of Crawfordcounty. Mrs. McAfee has heartily seconded the efforts of herhusband and is fully identified with the womens work of herdenomination. She is president of the Missionary Workers ofSouthwest Georgia Conference, whose motto is, To the braveand faithful nothing is difficult, and whose creed is:. MRS. L. D. McAFEE. She was educated at Fort Valley and at Albany. She taughtfor a number of years in the public schools of the State and hadthe reputation of being a banner teacher in every county inwhich she taught. Later she was employed by the J. E. Mc-Brady Co., of Chicago, by whom she is held in the highest es-teem. In the dozen years she has been with the firm, her suc-cess has been remarkable.
