Breast cancer pills. Packet and blister packs of Arimidex pills for the treatment of breast cancer. These pills contain one milligram of the drug anastrozole. The growth of breast cancers is stimulated by oestrogens. Anastrozole lowers oestrogen levels by inactivating an enzyme (aromatase) which produces oestrogens in the body.
