Police clear the area shortly after building collapse in Ilford

Dozens of firefighters are at the scene of a building collapse in Ilford Essex. The building known as City Gates, is a five storey metal framed building that appears to have collapsed from the upper middle level , it is not known the cause of the collapse or if there are any casualties as this is an ongoing incident at the time of writing. London Fire Brigade, London Ambulance Service and the Metropolitan Police have a significant response to the incident.
