The test also allows the comparison of Chi-square values for individual species, but consider- ing the sample size, the values are most useful to iden- tify species contributing substantially to differences be- tween Baie des Chaleurs and elsewhere, rather than to indicate a specific level of significance. Results Sites and species present For each site, observation dates are given followed by species in alphabetical order and number of indi- viduals seen in brackets.
