During the week in which UK prime minister David Cameron pledged to accelerate research into dementia, over 340 people will take part in a sponsored climb to the 4406 foot (1344m) high summit of Ben Nevis. The event is organised by the Alzheimers Society, a registered charity which seeks to further research and support sufferers of the disease, which is a major cause of dementia
