ATS RECRUITING CORPORALS IN NORTH WEST RECRUITING DIVISION - Private Doreen Greenwood of Poynton, Cheshire, was born in Bolton, studied design at Cardiff University for nearly three years, and worked in a Manchester bank, before she joined the ATS. She says she had spent her life moving about, and likes Northampton best of any place she has lived in. Now she is learning to be an ATS Recruiting Corporal. She is taught the work by assisting Corporal Cochrane, a Manchester Recruiting Corporal, and when she has picked up the job she will become a Corporal herself British Army
