Drowned evergreen tree, Kaindy Lake, Tian Shan Mountains, Kazakhstan

The Kolsay Lakes National Park on the north slope of the Tian Shan mountains consists of three beautiful mountain lakes. Middle and Upper Kolsay Lakes and Kaindy Lake. Kaindy Lake was formed when its outlet was blocked by a landslide, resulting in the death of the evergreens that were previously growing there.
