The Chinese Primrose Is the most beautiful and satisfactory of all house plants for winter blooming, and is as easily grown as a Geran- ium. It is never attacted by insects, and will even thrive in a window where there is but little sun, and where few other plants would bloom. Seeds sown from July to November will produce plants thatwill flower profusely through the following winter. Cover the seeds an eighth of an inch with fine light soil; keep moist but not wet, and they will be- gin to grow in two or three weeks. They are so easily raised that there is no reason why every flower lover should not have a magnifi- cent display of these brightest and best of all winter flowers In the house.
