The island is home to approximately 700 residents. It offers a quiet and laid-back lifestyle while still being able to easily access facilities and services on the mainland. Islanders often joke about going overseas when needing to leave the island. It’s a long way from suburbia and one is able to easily connect with nature by stepping out on to the beach.
