AE3 coin of Vabalathus King of Palmyra. Vabalathus, supported by mother, Zenobia, named himself Augustus in Palmyra, Syria. Aurelian regained control of the Syrian province. Vabalathus and Zenobia were captured and taken to Rome but their fate is not recorded. These coins are from my own collection.
