The Stay Satisfactory Range A Perfect Range Would Be BuiltWith Malleable Iron By using Malleable Iron in preference to castiron in building MONARCH Ranges, we haveobtained two advantages. First:—The toughnessof the metal permits a construction that gives abetter service to the user. Second:—The samefeature prevents breakage in shipping and in iron is unbreakable and can be workedcold under the hammer—thats how we can makesuch a firm construction. The Malleable Iron frames on the MONARCHare jointed to the steel body with rivets or malle-able lugs. This connection is solid and perman-ent. If we used cast iron it would be necessaryto make the joints with stove bolts and caulkthem with stove putty, which at best makes onlya temporary connection. With the constant ex-pansion and contraction of the iron, the stoveputty loosens and falls out, thereby creating airleaks into the flues, which lessens the efficiencyof the range. The MONARCH oven is held in L-shapedMalleable I
