A geological fault in Capitol Reef National Park.

A fault in Capitol Reef National Park. On the right side of the photo is a bluff of deep-red Moenkopi Formation rock, capped with a layer of pale Shinarump Conglomerate. In the center and left of the photo, we can see the Shinarump layer at the bottom of the cliffs. In between is the fault along which the rock in the center and left of the photo subsided. The cliffs above the Shinarump rock are made of Chinle Formation and Wingate Formation, respectively.
