British astronaut Tim Peake (born 1972) investigating airway inflammation on the International Space Station (ISS). He carrying out part of the Airway Monitoring experiment in the Quest airlock at low pressure (517mmHg). Peake served as a European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut on board the ISS for 186 days between 15 December 2015 and 18 June 2016. He was part of Expedition 46 and Expedition 47 to the ISS. During his time on board the ISS, Peake performed several scientific experiments and wrote blogs, as part of his Principia mission for the ESA and the UK Space Agency.
