SILVER SPRING, Md. (March 16, 2022) – Joseph Salzo, a research assistant with Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) prepares disks to grow bacteria in the Combat Wounds Infections Division laboratory. Part of NMRC’s Operationally Relevant Infections Department, the Combat Wound Infections Division develops and evaluates novel treatments for combat injury related skin and soft tissue infections associated with multi-drug resistant organisms.
