The Querino Canyon Bridge, located just outside of Houck, Arizona, was built in 1929 and spans Querino Canyon.
The Querino Canyon Bridge, located just outside of Houck, Arizona, was built in 1929 and spans Querino Canyon. The bridge is a truss design, 77 feet long, 20 feet wide, and comprised of a concrete-decked steel trestle with three Pratt deck trusses supported by steel piers. Concrete abutments support the bridge from below and steel lattice guardrails line the roadway. The bridge and roadway became a county road in the 1960's after construction of Interstate 40 was completed and now carries local traffic on the Navajo Indian Reservation. The bridge was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
