One of the most remarkable roses of recent date. As. strong growing as the best of the H. P's., with large, hand- some foliage, flowers of the fullest form and largest size, which is equalled in profusion by no other rose of its size that we have ever seen. The color is bright glowing carmine, and if this rose were constant in shade, it would outrank all others of its color. Its one only defect is too large a proportion of "off-color" buds. The bud is long and elegantly pointed; it is as sweet as a June rose. Its many fine qualities will make friends for it, despite its one fault. $15 per 100. Gruss an Teplits. (B. T.) (Weschwind.) As a bedding rose, this is one of the finest and most use- ful varieties of recent years. Many of our customers who bought it in the spring of 1899 are realizing its value. It will take rank with Hermosa, Malmaison and C. Soupert. The color is scarlet, shading to velvety crimson. In size it is larger than Hermosa. It is very fragrant, the freest grower and the most profuse bloomer of any everbloomer. The mass of color produced is wonderful, and the foliage is extremely beautiful, all the younger growth being a bronzy plum color; a queen among scarlet bedders. A valuable variety for the retail florist, and especially for the catalogue man. Fine for pot culture. $10 per 100. GRAFTED L\OSE£ ON MjTNETTI Ready March 1. $10 per 100; $90 per BRIDE AND BRIDESMAID In large quantity. Other Varieties grafted to order if engaged early. While opinions differ as to the value of grafted Kaiserina, Perle, Beauty, etc., the decision is nearly unanimous in favor of grafted Brides and Maids. In our soil grafted Perle is also much superior to own root stock. High grade blooms on long stiff stems are what we all want. The percentage of these
