Chest x-ray showing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Chest x-ray of an 88 year old woman with shortness of breath and a long history of smoking. The lungs are hyperinflated consistent with COPD. There are increased lung markings some of which are probably chronic. However, there is slight vascular redistribution. Kerley's lines are noted which could reflect mild interstitial edema. There is a calcified granuloma in the left midlung. No pleural fluid is evident. No bony abnormalities are present.
