Dundee, Scotland, UK. 20th February, 2014. Safedem contractors clearing up piles of rubble after the demolition of two multi-storey flats along the Strathmartine Road in Dundee. Following the successful demolition of the Derby Street Multis, Demolition of the section of Russell Place opposite the Hillview Centre commenced on Saturday 31st August 2013. Safedems machines will then start processing the arisings. The following Saturday and Sunday (7/8 September 2013) Safedem will demolish the block that runs from Derby Street to Strathmartine Road. Thereafter it will take 6-8 weeks to process the demolition arisings and clear the area of the site to make way for new projects and affordable housing.
