Northern Rail Class 156 with Destination Blind set for Liverpool South Parkway on the direct service from Chester via the Halton Curve

The 29th July was the date for the annual extended Chester - Runcorn Halton Curve service for stations to Liverpool South Parkway. This “Parliamentary Train” is expected to be the last with a proper service commencing in December 2018. Northern provided 156468 for the working which carried a good number of enthusiasts and interested parties along with a number of travelling passengers, not just there for the ride.
