A General Court-Martial order issued against Second Lieutenant Henry O. Flipper of the 10th Cavalry. The document shows that he was charged with embezzlement and conduct unbecoming of an officer. It was issued by the Army Adjutant General's Office in Washington, DC on June 17, 1882. Handwritten at the top of the document is “West Points 1st Black officer!”
