Since the Santa Fe main line is some distance from the ri\er where itcrosses Macy Street, this bridge can be constructed with practicallv nointerference with railroad traffic on the west side. The short approach onthe east side, together with alterations on account of street widening, wouldshorten the period of construction and interference -with the operation onthe Salt Lake.
