Danai, chief engineer aboard Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Manchester (LCS 14). Danai is a member of the Naval Junior Officer Council and received the 2022 Junior Officer Capt. Joy Bright Hancock Leadership Award for her leadership, personal and professional excellence.
