Pink Palace, one of many Mayan temple ruins at Sian Ka'an Biosphere, an ecological park in Mexico

Called The "Pink Palace" because it was once painted red and faded to pink. This building was an important trading center. This is among ruins of Mayan temples from approximately the 13th Century AD at Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve in Riviera Maya. This reserve on the Yucacan Peninsula of Mexico is an ecological park set aside to protect the coastal canals, lagoons, mangroves and reefs, along with ancient Mayan ruins.
