Recognizing the importance of offering youngmen, so disposed, an opportunity to include in their college studiessucli branches as will the l)etter prepare them for the study ofmedicine, and gain for them valuable time after leaving college,this department has been enlarged for thorough work in subjectsessential to the medical student. Much importance is here at-tached to Bacteriology, a knowledge of which is indispensable tothe thoroughly prepared physician. For accurate results in thisbranch, the Laboratory offers the most modern facilities.
