Lily of the Valley, Liljekonvalj (Convallaria majalis)


Convallaria majalis is a popular garden plant, grown for its scented flowers and for its ground-covering abilities in shady locations. It is a perennial to 25cm in height, forming extensive colonies. Erect racemes of nodding, bell-shaped, fragrant white flowers arise with the paired, elliptic leaves.
