From the second foot 91 per cent was removed, from thethird f«»t s7 per cent, and from the fourth foot 75 per cent. Thesefigures show that to a depth of 4 feet there has been 87 per cent ofthe original alkali removed from the entire tract. Compared with its condition in September,
