Albina Nazimova, Vladislav Listyev’s wife, and their son stand over Listyev’s open coffin during his funeral on March 3, 1995 in a Russian Orthodox church in central Moscow. Listyev, the director general of Russian ORT TV, was fatally shot outside of his apartment in Moscow on March 1, 1995. Listyev was 38 years old at the time of his murder. The killers managed to escape in a car and no arrests for his murder were ever made. According to the Russian General Prosecutor’s Office the police investigation into his murder was suspended in 2006. Photo by Chuck Nacke
