Rowen trees above Grwyne Fawr Reservoir which was built by the Abertillery & District Water Board high in the heart of the Black Mountains, Powys, Wales. The reservoir was built between 1912 and 1928 to serve the industrialised Welsh valley towns where there had been many outbreaks of disease due to contaminated wells and springs. The reservoir is one of the highest in the country.
