Stinky squid fungus, (Pseudocolus fusiformis). The reproductive body of this fungus uses a putrid smell to attract flies, which spread its spores. It starts out as a puffball, which splits open to form fused arms giving it a squid-like appearance. It is a member of the ornate stinkhorns (family Clathraceae).
