London, UK. 16 November 2016. Google have announced plans to create a £1billion headquarters in central London for up to 7,000 employees. The development, adjacent to King's Cross station, has been designed by Thomas Hetherwick, creator of the 2012 Olympic Cauldron. Currently occupied by theatrical productions, such as Lazarus and the Railway Children, the new development will occupy a site between King's Boulevard and the railway lines.
