Iobtained a fine specimen on Wrangel Island. Figure 167 gives a goodidea of a somewhat similarshell known as Clirysodomustdhnldtus, Baird, the TabledSpindle-sliell. It lives alongthe coast from VancouverIsland southward, inhabit-ing deeper and deeper wateron the way.
