(Nov. 4, 2016) Staff Cmdr. Ghassan Al-Ghadhban, Iraqi navy, and Capt. Mark Turner, director, Naval War College (NWC) Naval Staff College, speak with high school students at Rogers High School (RHS) in Newport, Rhode Island about the country of Iraq. Al-Ghadhban is a current NWC student and volunteered to speak to the class as part of RHS’s International Studies Program. The international programs at RHS and NWC directly relate to strengthening global maritime partnerships, one of NWC’s core missions.
