PM In the Spring of 1916 the "Foley Semi-Iron House" was chosen as the most practical and economical, and immediately seven of our houses were built. The following season thirteen more of the same type were built. They then followed a little while later with another order for two more of the same size. It was announced that Eichard Gardner had been engaged as manager of the spring flower shows under the auspices f,f the society, which are to be held June 24 and 25, and as manager of the Sep- tember show, the date of which has not yet been dectdetU^upon. Mr. Gardner gave the members an informal talk concerning orchid growing. A. T. Bunyard, of New York, was a visitor last week, making preparations for the summer trade.
