While a major disaster took place over part of the Netherlands, Mrs. Van Berge gave birth to a daughter (Marja) on the night of 1 to 2 February. The child was born in a house in Ouwerkerk, where the water stood up to the loft. Marja, now that the weater has disappeared again, returned to her hometown and plays as the sun shines wonderfully outside.
