DART, the Dallas area rail transport system, which includes alos are area wide bus service has moved 500 million passengers in just 25 years. the new Silver line is back on track that halted construction during the peak of the Covid19 pandemic, is also building a second downtown line that will all be subway-style. After giving up my car following an accident, I had been learning the system anticipating that someday I probably might need it for transportation. I am now in my second year and this trip was my longest and most complex trip to day. I have no regrets and love the money saved on insurance and gas---especially gas--as my car of 14 years was hauled away. I did not even look back.
