Recruits from Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, begin the movement to contact portion of a combat fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Jan. 18. This portion of a CFT consists of an 880-meter timed run. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate Feb. 9.
