The Pelletier Floral Co. and W. H. Kruse, south end florists, put in a busy week furnishing several large weddings, besides other work that kept them on the jump all the week. Large weddings and school work kept some of the west end florists hustling all through the last week. Among these were Joseph Witek, F. C. Weber, Ayres Floral Co., Miss Newman, F. H. Weber and Sanders. A meeting of the Missouri Seed Deal- ers' Association has been called for the evening before the departure of the St. Louis delegation to attend the thirty- seventh annual convention of the Amer- ican Seed TradC'Association at Chicago, June 24 to 26. Emil Schray, head of William Schray & Sons, is sporting a new Dodge sedan. Ove Gnatt and Mr. Blackshaw, of the Ove Gnatt Co., of Laporte, Ind., are here this week with a full line of sam- ples, showing them to the trade at the Jefferson hotel. They were assisted by J, J. Beneko, who is their local repre- sentative. W. J. Pilcher, state vice-president of the S. A. F. for eastern Missouri, is out hustling in the interest of the society and the coming meeting at Detroit. He says it looks like a large delegation from here to the convention.
