Similar lesionsof the oral and other mucous membranes are frequent. Periostitis,osteitis, arthritis, nodes due to lymph or gummy deposits under theperiosteum, and all causing bone-pains (osteocopic pains) especially atnight; caries and necrosis ; iritis, retinitis and choroiditis; falling ofthe hair ; onyxitis ; orchitis ; cerebral and spinal inflammations ; and,in fact, inflammation of any organ or tissue may be induced by con-stitutional syphilis.
