An important plate from the St. Andrew service, Meissen Porcelain Factory, circa 1774/75 Designed by Eberlein, 1744. White glazed porcelain, the border and centre with floral decoration (Gotzkowsky) in fine relief. In the centre a hand-painted bouquet, the border with a Russian double-headed eagle surmounted by a tsar's crown and the St. Andrew's Cross, gilt rim. Blue underglaze mark of crossed swords and red Hermitage inventory number on the bottom. Diameter cm. Extremely good condition and quality. Rare.
