The material from St. 1660 includes some specimens with long straight zooecia forming broad strap- like branches with as many as twelve series of zooecia. Other specimens from the same station have shorter, less straight, zooecia, and narrower branches. There is also varia- tion in the spines which are sometimes very stout, the median distal one being par- ticularly large. This is well seen, for example, in the material from St. TN 194.
