SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 22, 2016) Gas Turbine System Technician (Electrical) 1st Class Joshua Hawthorne, assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54), communicates with the main engine room from the ship’s central control station. Antietam is currently underway in the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
