The image is of the Franz Senn Hut mountain refuge in the Stubai Alps of the Austrian Tyrol. The hut is named after Franz Senn a local priest who is credited with establishing the German Alpine Club, DAV, Austrian Alpine Club OeAV and the Alpenverein Sud AVS. He died prematurely aged 52 of pneumonia in 1884 being buried in the churchyard in Neustift. For more information see my guidebook Trekking in the Stubai Alps published by Cicerone Press-UK.
