Two trainee pastors explain that there are parallels between the film and Christian traditions. The Zionskirche was built in the neo-romantic style in 1872 using terracotta bricks, It was bombed during the Second World War and despite several renovations, the church was not opened to the public again until 2002. It is now once again a Protestant place of worship
