Petersfield, Hampshire, UK. 19th May, 2016. Two retained fire appliances from Petersfield and Bordon have been called after a coach caught fire on the busy A3 northbound carriageway near Petersfield. Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze which had engulfed the rear engine compartment of the coach using a high pressure hose reel. Petersfield Hampshire Thursday 19th May 2016 Two retained fire appliances from Petersfield and Bordon have been called after a coach caught fire on the busy A3 northbound carriageway near Petersfield. Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze which had engulfed the rear engine compartment of the coach using a high pressure hose reel. It is thought that the crews managed to contain the blaze to the compartment and stop it from spreading. Officer from Hampshire Road Policing from Havant have closed one lane of the carriage whilst a recovery operation takes place of the 52 seater single decker coach from AMK Nobody is thought to have been hurt in the incident.@UKNIP
