Van Eyk, representing LeMoyne Bros., France, was a recent visitor at Pittsburgh, on business. Frank J. Zak has just opened his new store at 540 East Ohio street. Mr. Zak was originally located on East street and has moved to his new address for a bet- ter and larger location. He also reports that his business has been continually increasing, which makes it necessary for him to get a more prominent loca- tion. The store has a frontage of twenty feet and a depth of 120 feet, making a fine store room and ample room to take care of the business. Miss Julia Haube, daughter of Joseph Haube, a prominent florist of Charleroi, was married February 28 to Claire B. Smith, also well known in the florists' business. Mr. Haube remarked that he intended to turn his store over to the newly married couple and to devote most of his time and activity to his greenhouses. The store will be known as the Haube Flower Shop. Thomas Silverblatt, proprietor of the William Penn Flower Shop, has just re- covered from an attack of the grip. He is now able to be about again. H. J. H. CLEVELAND, 0. The Market. Prices last week continued about the same, with the exception of the price on some stock that accumulated and had to bo sold cheaply or thrown out. Vio- lets, in particular, have been moving slowly. Roses and carnations have been moving well, with daffodils a close sec- ond.
